
SCHOLARSHIP & AWARD
EVALUATION & PROCESS
A. GRADUATES CAN APPLY FOR ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TWO SCHOLARSHIPS
(1) ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP (*)
1. Must meet basic eligibility requirements.
2. Submit highlights of your personal biography, not to exceed 75 words for the yearbook.
3. Scholarship evaluation is based on 100 awarded points distributed as follows:
i. 65 points (maximum) awarded for Academic Achievement (an endorsed copy of a High School Transcript for 3 years is required, plus first semester senior year) – Submit transcripts
ii. 25 points (maximum) awarded for Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT), or American College Test (ACT) score – Submit your certified test score
iii. 10 points (maximum) awarded for leadership and extracurricular activities such as: Recognition Awards, Community Services, and Athletics (Sports), etc.
(2) NEWCOMERS’ SCHOLARSHIP (*)
1. Open only to applicants who have resided in the U.S. less than five years.
2. Must meet basic eligibility requirements.
3. Submit highlights of your personal biography for the yearbook, not to exceed 75 words.
4. Scholarship evaluation is based on 100 awarded points distributed as follows:
i. 65 points (maximum) awarded for Academic Achievement (an endorsed copy of a High School Transcript for 3 years is required, plus first semester senior year) – Submit transcripts.
ii. 25 points (maximum) awarded for Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT), or American College Test (ACT) score – Submit your certified test score.

(*) Funds determine the number of scholarships
B. GRADUATES CAN ALSO APPLY FOR THE ESSAY AWARD
The submitted essay must range between 500-1000 words. You may e-mail it separately to commencement10@gmail.com. Top three essay candidates may be interviewed for authentication.
C. GRADUATES CAN ALSO APPLY FOR THE SPECIAL TALENT SCHOLARHSIP
Mail us your academic transcript(s) – min 3.0 gpa is required. Send us special recognition and recommendation letters to support your talent. You may also write an essay telling us why you deserve a scholarship for your talent describing any career intentions you may have for your talent.
